The zip file contains the following files:
1. Example_SOTE_MainProgram.m (Matlab script)
2. Example_Plot_Simulation.m (Matlab script)
3. A folder containing four Matlab functions used in MainProgram.
4. The MMS data for the reconstruction (In Folder Data).
5. The paper of SOTE method (2019APJS_LiuYY.pdf).
1. “Example_SOTE_MainProgram.m” is the main program that should be run on the Matlab environment. It exhibits the complete reconstruction process for an magnetic hole structure. This reconstruction case is from the paper “First Topology of Electron-scale Magnetic Hole” (https://doi.org/10.1029/2020GL088374).
2. “Example_Plot_Simulation.m” outputs the simulated “measurements” in the reconstructed field along the spacecraft paths, which could be compared with the spacecraft measurements. The input data (SOTE.mat) is generated by the main program.
3. The IRFU-Matlab analysis package is necessary for performing the program. The package are available at https://github.com/irfu/irfu-matlab/tree/devel.
